Terms and Conditions

The Swain Center owns and operates the website and services provided. If you are accepting these Terms for another person as such Family Member’s parent, guardian, conservator, or custodian, you agree to these Terms on behalf of such Family Member.

THE SWAIN CENTER DOES NOT PROVIDE EMERGENCY CARE. IF YOU THINK YOU ARE FACING AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE DO NOT RELY ON THE COMPANY FOR HELP. IMMEDIATELY CALL 911 OR GO TO YOUR NEAREST EMERGENCY ROOM.

  • What services does The Swain Center Provide?: The Swain Center offers a variety of Speech and Language Services such as Tiny Talkers, Little Language Builders, TARPSing, Let’s Adapt!, Tomatis, 1:1 Speech Therapy and 2:1 Speech Therapy.

    For pediatrics we provide the following if necessary:

  • Articulation

  • Auditory Processing Disorders

  • Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • Childhood Apraxia of Speech

  • Cleft Lip & Palate

  • Feeding Disorders 

  • Fluency & Stuttering

  • Joint Attention

  • Motor Speech Disorders

  • Oral Myofunctional Disorders

  • Phonological Processing (Phonology)

  • Social Pragmatic Language Disorders

  • Swallowing Disorders

  • Tongue Thrust 

  • Your Use of Our Services: You represent and warrant that the information you provide to us is accurate and complete. You acknowledge and agree that we are entitled at all times to verify the information provided and to deny your use of The Swain Center services at any time for any reason or no reason.

    By accessing or using The Swain Center’s services, you further agree that you will not:

    • copy or distribute The Swain Center’s services or other services content, or resell The Swain Center’s services to a third party;

    • upload or transmit any communications or content of any type that infringes or violates any rights of any party;

    • use The Swain Center’s services for any purpose in violation of local, state, federal or international laws;

    • use The Swain Center’s services as a means to distribute advertising or other unsolicited material to any third party;

    • impersonate another person;

    • post material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful or embarrassing to any other person or entity as determined by The Swain Center in our sole discretion;

    • You will ensure that no unauthorized person shall have access to your personal information in regards to HIPPA regulations;

    • assign or otherwise transfer your services to any other person or entity;

    • try to harm The Swain Center’s services or impair the proper operation of the company in any way whatsoever; and

    We reserve the right to immediately terminate your use of The Swain Center’s services should you fail to comply with any of the foregoing rules.

    If we change these Terms in the future, we will update the “Effective Date” to reflect the date of the changes. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will make reasonable attempts to notify you, such as posting a notice through SMS messaging, email or on our website. By continuing to access or use The Swain Center’s services after we post such changes, you agree to the modified Terms.

Privacy Policy

The Swain Center respects your privacy. By opting into SMS messaging services, you agree to the following terms on how we handle your data:

  • Data Collection: The Swain Center may collect your name, email address, physical or billing address and mobile phone number when you sign up for SMS updates. The information will be collected through our contact form, email, or third-party reservation systems.

  • Data Usage: The Swain Center will use your data solely for the purpose of sending appointment reminders, sending updates, informational messages or scheduling appointments.

  • Data Security: The Swain Center will protect your data with secure measures to prevent unauthorized access.

  • Data Retention: The Swain Center will retain your information as long as you are subscribed to the SMS messaging service. You may request deletion at any time by replying STOP.

  • MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY! Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages, especially if you do not have an unlimited data plan or subscription.

  • MESSAGES ARE REOCCURRING AND MESSAGING FREQUENCY MAY VARY up to 4 times a month

  • Contact The Swain Center at (707) 575-1468 for HELP or to STOP receiving messages.

  • OPT-OUT: You can opt-out at any time by texting or replying STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE to (707) 575-1468. After unsubscribing, you will receive a final SMS message to confirm you have unsubscribed and The Swain Center will remove your number from The Swain Center SMS messaging list within 24 hours.

  • OPT-IN: You can opt-in at any time by texting or replying YES or SUBSCRIBE to (707) 575-1468. After subscribing, you will receive a SMS message to confirm you have subscribed to The Swain Center SMS messaging list.

  • You can send or reply HELP to receive additional assistance, you will receive a text back from The Swain Center with our phone number and website. We are here to help you.

  • NON-SHARING Clause: The Swain Center will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. The Swain Center will not sell, rent or share the collected phone numbers.

    This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, protect, use, disclose and store the information collected through the website at The Swain Center and any affiliated platform or mobile application.

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
